The classic Bramble is usually a sharp, high-acid drink. This version is different. By swapping out some of the traditional citrus for Myrlèmon, we’ve softened the edges. The organic sugarcane base acts as a bridge between the botanical gin and the deep raspberry of the Chambord, turning a "tart" drink into something velvety and integrated. It’s rich, fruit-forward, and incredibly smooth.
Ingredients
| 30ml | Botanical Gin |
| 20ml |
Chambord (Black Raspberry Liqueur) |
| 30ml | Myrlèmon |
| To Top |
Chilled Soda Water |
Garnish
-
A fresh blackberry and a lemon myrtle leaf.
The Serve
-
The Glass: Grab a rocks glass and fill it with crushed ice. The texture of the crushed ice is important here—it keeps the drink cold and helps the liqueur "bleed" through the glass.
-
The Build: Pour the gin and the Myrlèmon directly over the ice.
-
The Bleed: Drizzle the Chambord over the top. Don't stir yet—watch as the dark purple liqueur slowly works its way down through the ice.
-
The Lift: Top with a splash of soda and give it one gentle, quick stir just to bring the flavors together.
-
The Garnish: Thread a fresh blackberry onto a pick or drop it on top with a fresh lemon myrtle leaf.
The Experience
-
The Visual: It’s a beautiful drink to look at. The contrast between the clear ice and the deep berry "bleed" looks like a coastal sunset in a glass.
-
The Scent: You get the piney, herbal notes of the gin and the bright myrtle first, followed by the sweet, jammy aroma of the berries.
-
The Texture: It feels remarkably soft on the palate. The crushed ice makes it incredibly refreshing, while the essential oils in the Myrlèmon give the finish a weight and silkiness that lingers.
Botanical, berry-rich, and perfectly rounded.
